When people remember this show as being really, really bad? THESE are the episodes they’re remembering. It’s worse than I remembered, too. And I already remembered a lot.
Alright, Fair dues: it’s the most memorable Red Riding Hood take I’ve ever seen.
The season’s a full half over, so it’s time for a temperature check on how things are going. In short: new Kino let me down, Magus Bride makes me uncomfortable (but the OVA is still good), Konohana Kitan sure is a yuri anime for the male gaze, and […]
The good parts of the series are behind us, and this set of episodes crosses over from “things I can appreciate and roll my eyes at” to “this actually makes me apoplectic with rage.” Nuriko deserved better when I was a teenager, and she deserves better now.

Never underestimate the amount of time I can spend talking about this franchise. Oh, and we have show notes now!
Once upon a time I read one of the seminal 90s shoujo series (I…read a lot of Yu Watase, actually). It sucked me in and made me real mad, and then I didn’t think about it for a long time. And I never watched the anime. When I […]
It’s vampire time! This movie bowled me over way more than expected. Also, it’s pretty gay.
