This is a pretty slim season for new series–lot of sequels and continuations. And it’s winter, which is always sort of the dump season anyway. Still, there’s a few potential gems.

Prepared to be terrified, and not by the ostensible horror movie.
The plot is a big ball of nonsense that only matters insofar as people FEEL things about it, but also the characters are real good.
I wouldn’t say this is a GOOD movie, but it’s definitely a hell of a spectacle.
