Not too long ago I had the fortune of acting as a the dubiously expert Evangelion fan for some newcomers in a watchalong podcast. It was utterly delightful to watch them experience the show for the first time and soak in my complicated affection for the show.

The new dub cast is great, by the way. Shame about the new translated script.
