Trash & Treasures: The Hunger

Despite this being the most famous lesbian vampire movie, it’s the least gay of the three vampire movies we watched (it’s also above using the word “vampire,” so…).

We can’t prove that Anne Rice watched this movie about vampire being from Egypt, Actually, but we have a thought or two. It’s okay, this movie ripped off Interview with the Vampire first.

Anyway, this is one of those movies that’s too good to say the word “vampire,” and also makes you watch David Bowie age rapidly. It would all be very sad if not for the things that are so, so bad. Who knows how to write queer women better than a straight man?
