It’s vampire time! This movie bowled me over way more than expected. Also, it’s pretty gay.

I know we like saying that Interview with the Vampire is the gayest vampire movie. But actually, it’s this one. Also, if you remove the vampire scenes it becomes a movie about a teenage boy plotting a hate crime against his gay neighbors.

But I guess technically it’s about Rear Window, vampire style, as said teen boy tries to get someone to believe him about the supernatural being next door. Half the production crew was queer. It shows a little bit. And some of them went on to some FASCINATING careers. For a given value thereof.

Also there was a remake. We guess.

Anyway, happy October! It’s time to talk about the undead.
