Trash & Treasures: Mary & Max

A stop motion animated flick about the moving friendship between an adult man and a little girl.

I guess “not as twee or creepy as the premise implies!” wouldn’t be a very good pull quote for the box.

Vrai, Dorothy, and Chris rail against the inevitable Deep Indie Movie Ending, appreciate Laika’s singlehanded attempt to keep stop motion on the market, and ponder the fates of roosters.

Also, this one has content warnings for DAYS, so listen carefully to the first couple minutes.
